It can be quite a journey. To discover your spiritual truth(s). There seems to be an endless time line as we always have another moment to contemplate who we really are. There seems to be an ebb and flow to it too. Perhaps we have found a season of struggle, and what we are doing just doesn't really take off. Or, perhaps, a lul where we just can't get our self focused. This ever present now, seems to make itself known, over and over again.

So what can we do, as we are living our life? what can we do to make some progress as the seemingly endless cycle of days pass by? We can get so entrenched in our life, the way it is right now. And yet, deep down inside, we know there is a brighter path for us to take.

I have always taken an inner approach to my outer world. I really pay attention to how I am re-acting to the people and events in my life. I find it valuable to catch myself, when I want to escape or leave a situation. I try to FEEL my inner self and try to understand what it is I am trying to avoid. Even if it is someone who is angry or upset. I just let myself feel uncomfortable in the moment. If I do this, I tend to be able to feel feelings that are not recognizable when everything is "normal" and still.

When I feel it within me, I just sit with it and let it well up in me. Invariably I can let a lot of it OUT. Releasing it forever. And I also can recognize it when it inevitably comes up again. Sometimes in seemingly different situations. As I allow myself to feel uncomfortable, yet still stay in the environment I don't like, then I can feel the emotion of why I want to leave. Ultimately I do not want any emotional feeling to decide for me, until I have become aware of it.

In the past, I would have just left, and not thought twice of it. And my subtle subconscious emotions would have made yet another choice for me, without my awareness. When I can become aware of it, and feel it for what it is, I tend to stop and re-consider my choices in that moment. It tends to make me stay with my original choice, and I just allow the feeling to pass.

This has really helped me stay focused on what I want. And not keep dropping into subconscious emotional re-actions, over and over again.

Perhaps there are hidden emotional elements within you that are driving your life down a road that really doesn't serve you very well. Sure you can get by, but what are you avoiding without being aware of it? How would you re-act different if you knew this was unresolved stuff from your past motivating your choices in this moment?

I found it to be very powerful. Very powerful. I recommend it to you now. Try it. Allow it.
